I had a fantastic experience dining here. The salads were incredibly fresh, and the dressings were absolutely delicious. The kebabs were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. The definite highlight, however, was their mashed eggplant dish, it was incredibly flavorful.

I’m Turkish but I like Iranian cuisine as well ! There are some differences between Turkish cuisine and Iranian cuisine but overall I like it ! In Taiwan we need more Halal Mideast cuisine though!

This Persian restaurant buffet in Taipei is a hidden gem. For 700 TWD ($30 CAD) per person, the food is outstanding – the closest taste to authentic Iranian cuisine I’ve had in the past 9-10 years. From the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the fragrant saffron rice and rich stews, every bite was a nostalgic trip to Iran. The flavors were spot-on, and the quality was exceptional.

1001 nights has an excellent buffet, spacious comfortable seating and with a great choice of dishes on offer. We particularly enjoyed the saffron and yoghurt chicken as well as the many different styles of beef and lamb. As a buffet you can try and many things as you like, so if you want to experience the full range of Persian cuisine there’s no better place in Taipei

Visited for Nowruz (Persian New Year) and it was awesome.

The food was very authentic and a total break from the flavours of Taiwan; most of the dishes are not at all changed to fit the local palette (which is great!).

Went as a big group, booked online, and we were all welcomed heartily. Iranians especially so 😉

Would recommend the buffet to try it all, don't forget the kashk e bademjan (my favourite) and the awesome saffron ice cream served at the back!
